AWH offers the following specialties:

Obstetrics - Management of care of pregnancy and childbirth. We offer a variety of prenatal and childbirth classes.

Gynecology - Diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders of the female reproductive system.

Maternal-Fetal Medicine- Specialized consultation services for high risk pregnancies complicated by maternal conditions including but not limited to genetic abnormalities, diabetes, high blood pressure; fetal conditions including but not limited to abnormal ultrasound findings or abnormal pregnancy screening results; multiple gestation (twins, triplets or more), amniocentesis, family history of abnormalities, recurrent miscarriage and pregnancy loss, hemostasis and thrombosis.  These consultations are provided by a fellowship trained Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist/Perinatologist who is certified in Nuchal Translucency.

Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery- Gynecology Oncology - Comprehensive care to the woman with a premalignant or malignant condition of the reproductive system.

Nurse Midwife- The collaborative team of a nurse-midwife and physicians offer women an optimal combination of primary, preventive care with specialized services as needed. The professional interaction between the midwife and the physician clearly enhance the practice of both specialties.

Women's Continence Center - Are you concerned about urine leakage or sudden urges?  Urinary incontinence affects 17 million Americans, of whom 85 percent are women.  We offer evaluation, counseling, follow-up, and several treatment options that include behavioral techniques, pelvic muscle training, medications, and surgery.

About Our Practice

On January 1, 1997, four prominent practices committed to providing quality women's health care joined together with the goals of creating a continuum of care for women that was easily accessible and convenient for the female patient.

Associates in Women's Health, PA, consists of 19 doctors in Wichita and its Metro area. For our patients' convenience, we offer services at three clinical locations and two additional satellite locations through our Newton office.  Our administration office is centrally located to meet all of your billing and insurance needs.

What does FACOG mean?

Office Hours and Locations?

We offer services at three offices; East, West and Newton.  Our Newton office also offers services at satellite offices in Park City and McPherson. Please see our contacts and locations page for the specific office hours at each individual location. We are generally open Monday through Friday and closed on weekends and holidays.

Confidentiality and Medical Records

The confidentiality of our patient's protected health information is of utmost importantance to us. All of your medical records are considered confidential information. We will release the records or any part of them only if you give us written authorization and after confirmation of a signature on file of your acknowledgement of our privacy practices notification. Associates in Women's Health adheres to the guidelines for release of protected health information as set forth in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
