Nurse Midwife
Our Certified Nurse Midwife is Sharon Foster, ARNP, CNM who has been with Associates in Women's Health since 1999 and has attended over 900 births. The collaborative team of a nurse-midwife and physicians offer women an optimal combination of primary, preventive care with specialized services as needed.
The professional interaction between Sharon and the physicians clearly enhance the practice of both specialties. Sharon's services include care for low risk, healthy pregnant women, well woman examinations, pap tests, care for minor female problems, family planning and menopausal symptoms.
During labor, Sharon provides support to the laboring woman and her partner and encourages the normal physiologic process of labor and birth. She has Allied Health Professional privileges at both Wesley and Via Christi and practices at our East Wichita location at 3232 E Murdock, Wichita, KS 67208.
