Sonia Hernandez, patient satisfaction is key. She always works to make sure patients have a full understanding of any condition effecting their health and are able to be fully involved in their treatment options.

Hernandez has worked in the medical field now for 16 years and has spent the last seven years here at AWH. She’s most proud of her decision to return to school after being married and with two small children at home. A supportive family and husband helped her overcome the challenges and realize that anything is possible.

Family and her relationship with God are most important to Hernandez. She enjoys volunteering at her church whenever possible, as well as being outdoors and spending quality time with her children and new grandson.
