Nurse Ungles is one of the newest additions to the Associates in Women’s Health team, having joined us in 2018. After graduating from Wichita State University with a bachelor of science in nursing, she went straight to work in labor & delivery at Wesley Medical Center, where she worked for four years.
Her experience at Wesley helped her realize that a nursing career in women’s health is her true passion, so she completed her master of science in nursing at Maryville University and joined AWH shortly after graduation.
Not one to shy away from challenges, Ungles graduated, passed boards, started a new job and got married — all in three months time.
Ungles finds reward every day through interactions with patients, such as seeing a new mother’s anxiety decrease or disappear just by answering a few questions.
