Gynecologic Oncology
Women facing gynecological cancer require very specialized care. Gynecologic cancers are those effecting the female reproductive system, including ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, vaginal cancer, cervical cancer and vulvar cancer. Associates in Women’s Health includes two physicians dedicated to providing care to women with gynecologic cancer or precancerous conditions and in the management of complex gynecologic surgical problems.

- Women with findings of a pelvic mass
- Peri and post-menopausal bleeding
- Precancerous conditions of the cervix, vagina, and vulva
- Known or suspected gynecologic cancer
- The patient with abnormal Pap smears including
- Colposcopy
- LASER
- LEEP
- Fertility sparing surgery
We provide counseling and screening for women who may be at risk for:
- Ovarian cancer
- Uterine cancer
- Cervical cancer
- Vulvar cancer
- Gestational trophoblastic disease or molar pregnancy
- Gynecological conditions associated with breast cancer therapy
We offer the following medical and surgical care:
- Minimally invasive surgery/laparoscopy/daVinci Robotic surgery
- Fertility-sparing surgery
- Radical pelvic surgery for the treatment of ovarian, cervical, endometrial or vulvar cancer
- Collaborative care with Radiation Oncologists
- Chemotherapy
- Access to clinical trials for gynecologic malignancy treatment
